• Notifications: If enabled, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to deliver push notifications.

• To create and manage your account and church membership
• To facilitate communication within your church community (announcements, events, groups)
• To send important service updates, security alerts, and administrative messages
• To improve app performance, fix bugs, and develop new features
• To comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud

3. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in these limited circumstances:

• With Your Church Leaders: Admins/pastors of your invited church can view your profile and activity within that church's workspace (as permitted by their settings).
• Service Providers: Trusted third parties like Firebase (Google), hosting providers, or analytics tools — all bound by confidentiality agreements and data protection standards.
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard safeguards:

• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt/Argon2 (never stored in plain text)
• Data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Regular security audits and access controls
• Church data is logically isolated between organizations

⚠️ No digital system is 100% secure. Please protect your password and log out on shared devices.

5. Your Rights & Choices

• Access & Correction: View and update your profile in-app anytime.
• Deletion: Request account deletion via Settings → Account → Delete Account, or contact us below.
• Notifications: Manage push/email preferences in-app or via device settings.
• Export: Request a copy of your personal data (GDPR/CCPA compliant).
• Opt-Out: You may decline optional data collection, though some features may be limited.

6. Children's Privacy

Our App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us immediately for removal.

7. International Data Transfers

Data may be processed in countries outside your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place per applicable data protection laws.

You agree not to:

• Impersonate another person or church organization
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the App's functionality
• Share sensitive pastoral counseling notes, confidential member information, or financial records without explicit authorization
• Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the App

3. Church Content & Ownership

• Your Content: You retain rights to content you post (e.g., prayer requests, comments). By posting, you grant us a limited license to display and distribute it within your church workspace.
• Church Data: Each church organization owns its directory, events, and ministry data. Admins control visibility and retention policies.

4. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from App use.
• Maximum liability shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use the App in the past 6 months.

5. Modifications & Termination

• We may update these Terms or the App at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
• You may delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
• Upon termination, your personal data will be anonymized or deleted per our Privacy Policy.
